Ryan McCollum

I’m a proud black man and proud Irish American who strives to use my honed craft of politics to make the world a better place for those most in need. I’m a new father who sits on more than a half a dozen boards that each tackle the issue of systemic racism in one way or another.

Ryan’s Why: I have a unique perspective being bi-racial that allows me to understand the impacts of racism both empathically and sympathetically.  I’ve been both the victim of racism and the beneficiary of privilege. I always take the opportunity to learn more and put my perspective to use.
